 Description:

 Franklin Street was the location in Evansville where the railroad's southern terminus facilities were located.  Located on both sides of the main line, the facilities were reached by branching out from the main at about MP 246.4.  The freight depot now houses offices and the engine house has become a warehouse. For the purpose here, Franklin Street encompasses everything south of West Maryland St. and north of West Franklin St. (the road).
