The Peoria, Decatur & Evansville Railway

 Description:  Was the location of the crossing and interchanging with the Evansville Belt Railway.  There was also a coal mine located here circa 1884 to 1960.  The 1928 track chart listed the coal facilities mine chutes with five pockets.  That track chart also lists a "penstock" with a date of 8-1922 about a half mile north of here.  For the purpose here, Devon Street Junction encompasses everything south of the crossing of Pigeon Creek and north of West Maryland St.
